Duncan’s Story

So this is the story about Duncan’s Vacation. I know it’s been done before, but not by us! So we came up with a plan to kidnap our younger daughter’s favorite doll and take him with us on our second cruise. We got our older daughter to do the actual hijacking and the rest was pure fun for us!Duncan is quite photogenic, and was an instant hit on the ship. We even had our welcome aboard picture taken with him (hold that thought). We had him pose with total strangers and new friends alike. As these pictures illustrate, he steals the show!

In the meantime, our daughter is frantic. She sent out an “APB” on Facebook, blamed her boyfriend and even went through the trash. Of course we didn’t know any of this until we got home.

How to break it to her, hmmmm. Ah, my wife came up with a brilliant idea. We both changed our profile pictures on Facebook to the welcome aboard picture! We sat back and waited to see how long it would take. 10 MINUTES! “You got to be kidding me” was the post. “Well played Dad”!
